Field production and location shoots, without the travel line item

When the story is at a jobsite, a plant, a clinic or a customer's office, the production has to come to it. We run field shoots across North America with local crews in each market, which removes flights, hotels and per diems from your estimate and gets a Kicker producer on the ground who knows the city.

Multi-city and multi-site programs

Rolling out one video across six facilities is a logistics problem more than a creative one. We build a single shooting standard, brief every local crew to it, and manage schedules, call sheets and media handoff so the finished films match no matter which market they were shot in.

Location scouting, permits and access

Scouting, sound and light assessment, power planning, permit filing, building management coordination, and the insurance certificates facilities ask for before they open a gate. We handle site orientations, PPE requirements and escort scheduling in advance so shoot day is not spent in a lobby.

Producers, coordinators and on-set direction

A senior producer runs every field day: interview direction, shot list management, talent handling and the judgment calls that come up when an operation shuts down or an executive arrives early. Production coordinators handle release forms, transcripts and continuity notes.

Industrial and regulated site experience

Energy facilities, hospitals, manufacturing floors, mines, labs and construction sites. We shoot around live work safely, respect confidentiality zones, and know what cannot appear in frame.

Questions we get asked

Do you really not charge travel fees?
For the most part, never.  If we aren't using one of our Kicker crews, we staff from local crews in each market (or the closest big city), so shoots outside our home cities do not add flights, hotels or per diems.  Let us know where the shoot is!
How much notice do you need for a field shoot?
Two weeks is comfortable for most single-site days. But we can work very fast.  We have turned shoots around in 48 hours when a site or an executive window opened up.

Tell us about the project and we will scope it.
